My son was a sceptic before coming here. He thought because Justin was my barber, that he didn’t know how to do a fresh cut for a teen… He was wrong. A haircut can be a small service in the grand scheme of things but having a professional, knowledgeable, and skilled barber to rely on consistently is not a small thing. I may have other wrinkles in my life at any given time but seeing Justin regularly is one decision that I literally never have to stress about and that makes my whole life materially better. Also he's literally the only barber I've seen who can give a cut that won't make your spouse say, "huh, you look kinda weird/different" when you come back home. Remarkable.

Tried Justin out today for the first time. My 13 year old son got a haircut, and I got a beard trim and head shave. We had been using a barber in the Boise norrth end for years, but it was getting just too far and cumbersome to get down there in traffic. Googled Meridian barbers to find one a bit closer to home, and Idaman and Justin was the first one to pop up. SO GLAD we gave him a try. Absolutely one of the best Master Barbers I have seen in the treasure valley. Incredibly skilled; attentive to detail, and very knowledgeable about hair and beard care products. My 13 year old son said it was the best haircut he has ever gotten, and I have to agree. My beard has the most amazing crisp, sharp lines now, and is so soft! Totally amazing. Justin is now my standard by which all barbers will be judged by. I am planing on patronizing his shop regularly for years to come.

Justin is fantastic. He is an expert barber who has a masterful way if knowing what's going to look "right" for the person who's hair he's cutting. Before finding Justin, I was consistently disappointed with my haircuts because they looked awkward for a couple weeks until my hair started to grow out some and then it would look decent. With Justin, my hair looks great the moment he finishes. I don't know how he does that, but its magic. I remember looking in the mirror after my first cut with him and thinking "my search is complete." Always friendly and a pleasure to talk to, I won't go to anyone else! Thank you, Justin!

I started going to get my hair and beard cut by Aaron when he worked in Fred's Barbershop 💈 when I moved to Meridian in Fall 2023. I have consistently got a high quality level of service that an expensive barber in Boise would perform for a price comparable to Great Clips. However, I got a higher quality haircut by Aaron, who is now at Idaman Barbershop. It's a nice place. I like that there's nothing pretentious, hip, or trendy about it. It's just a nice barbershop where so -called normal people get their hair cut. It's nice to be able to support small Idaho businesses like Idaman Barbershop. Aaron and the other barber are friendly and the conversation in the shop is always pleasant.

Aaron has been my barber for over 20 years and I have always been treated well, he is a true professional who takes his time and actually talks with you about what’s going on in your life as well as his own, showing you that he does care about you.

My first time here and it will not be the last! Justin did a GREAT job, the shop was welcoming/relaxed, price was great and cut was spot on!

We moved here in 2018 and I found Justin a few weeks after settling in, and have been going to him ever since! Great guy who gives great haircuts, and he’s the only person I let cut mine and my teenage son’s hair. My haircut has stayed the same, but he’s been through multiple phases & styles of haircuts for my son (both long & short styles) and has nailed it every single time (including carving my son’s baseball number into the side of his hair a few times). If you’re looking for a new barber, give him a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

All joking aside, Justin is a top tier barber and I’ve been trusting him to take care of my family and myself for five years. In 2019, we relocated here to start a business and I walked in to a shop and met Justin. I said “I’m looking for a barber to go to for the rest of my life.” The rest is history. He consistently delivers high quality cuts in a quick and efficient manner and is willing to work with my schedule. If you want the best, look no further; you will not be disappointed. I had my initial visit with Justin last week or so. He was very professional and at the same time very approachable. We chatted about my hair, beard and options in detail which I appreciated. Best cut in the valley. I moved from Oregon in August of 2019 and popped into this shop.
